چکیده
Context: The thesis work will be carried out in the Algorithm-Silicon Interaction team of the “Laboratoire des Sciences et Techniques de l’Information, de la Communication et de la Connaissance” (Lab-STICC), research unit UMR 6285 of the French National Scientific Research Centre. The research activity of the team is mainly dedicated to the development of new algorithms and architectures for digital communications. Since the invention of turbo codes in the early nineties, the team has been internationally recognized for its expertise in Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding, coded modulations and iterative processing. Its scientific work was awarded by several national and international prizes, including the 2003 IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal, the 2005 Marconi Prize or the 2009 IEEE/SEE Glavieux Prize. The team has contributed to the study of innovative FEC codes and coded modulations in several European collaborative projects: in the DaVinci project (http://www.ict-davincicodes.eu/), we acquired strong experience in Non-Binary (NB) Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) decoding architectures [1], which was recently valued via licensing of patents to France Brevet in January 2013. In the Eurêka/Celtic B21C (http://www.celticinitiative.org/Projects/Celtic-projects/Call4/B21C/), Eurêka/Celtic ENGINES and Eurêka/Eurostars SME42, the team studied coded modulation schemes for future fixed and mobile TV broadcasting systems. A modulation scheme with signal-space diversity was designed and adopted in the second European standard for the broadcast transmission of digital terrestrial television DVB-T2. The team has also been active in several ad-hoc groups of the DVB technical module (DVB-T2, DVB-RCS2, DVB-NGH).

Computational study on geometric and electronic properties of 3.6-carbazole based conjugated polymers
In this work, we present firstly a study based on the calculation of the local spin densities of radical cations, which is known as a good measure of reactivity for coupling reactions, to obtain a theoretical basis for the one-step formation of poly(3.6-carbazole) and derivatives. Then we detail a DFT theoretical study of the geometric and electronic properties of oligomers based on carbazole a...
متن کاملDosage by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) coupled with the dissolution of a combination of anti-tuberculous: a pilot study conducted in Cotonou, Benin
Efficient tuberculosis treatment requires the use of good quality medicines. The present study developed a method of dosage by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) coupled with the dissolution of a combination of fixed doses of four anti-tuberculous (Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol Hydrochlorate, Rifampicine). The elaborated protocol was thereafter used to assess the quality of med...

متن کاملOriented Processes for Extraction and Recovery of Blue P3R Dye across Hybrid Polymer Membranes: Parameters and Mechanism
In the present work, two asymmetric polymer membranes based on polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with chitin and chitosan (as extractive agents) were synthesized through the phase inversion technique. The mechanisms of oriented process for the facilitated extraction of blue P3R dye across the as-prepared membranes were elucidated through different experiments. Furthe...
متن کاملBuckling Analysis of Embedded Nanosize FG Beams Based on a Refined Hyperbolic Shear Deformation Theory
In this study, the mechanical buckling response of refined hyperbolic shear deformable (FG) functionally graded nanobeams embedded in an elastic foundation is investigated based on the refined hyperbolic shear deformation theory. Material properties of the FG nanobeam change continuously in the thickness direction based on the power-law model. To capture small size effects, Eringen’s nonlocal e...
